Saludos.
Al hacerle el testeo a mi burra, me salio el 11 y luego aperecio el 42 tres ves seguido, es decir 11 ... 42 ... 42 .... 42 y luego el 55. me pueden ayudar a leer estos, no entiendo porque sale el 42 por tres veces, no logro interpretarlo.

pana no entiendo que significa ya que esta en ingles habra alguna en español o saber que sensor es la mia es 97-modelo 98 y me lanza en el testeo el codigo 23 no se que hacer ...me podrian ayudar y decirme que significa y que hacer

Ahora bien...si nos basamos en la lista de http://go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoECUcodes.htm

Tu camioneta por ser 97 pertenece a la primera tabla y la descripcion es :

23 Intake air temp or circuit. Check air temp sensor and wiring.

Lo que al castellano significa que debes chequear el sensor que se encarga del flujo de aire que toma por el intake o verificar su cableado. Creo que ese recibe y envia 5 voltios quizas esta recibiendo menos o esta en corto su circuito...en fin.

Por alli van los tiros, le denominan IAT

Pero yo siendo tu, si la camioneta no tiene alguna falla...desconectaria el borne negativo unos minutos y luego hago el test nuevamente.

En los modelos del 98 al 2002 puedes acceder al sistema de codigos de la siguiente manera: Inserta la llave y sin girarla presiona por completo el boton RESET del cuenta kilometros y mantenlo. Luego gira la llave hacia la posicion de encendido (sin producir ignicion!!!) tres veces dejando la llave en la posision de encendido. Suelta el boton de RESET y veras como las agujas se sacuden y el cuenta kilometros comienza una cuenta regresiva hasta mostrar un numero de dos digitos el cual representa un codigo de falla.

Tengo un problema con mi burra, derepernte se prende y se apaga el cueta kilometroe digital y las agujas del tablero se ponen en 0 y se prende el bombillo de la caja y el del la llave, y si la apago despues no prende tengo que dejara como 1 hora apagada la burra para que prenda y despues prende pero se queda prendido el bombillo de la llave, y el tablero se pone en 0 y el cuenta kilometro prende y apaga

que tal pana mira la mia es una xj 99 .. yo hice la prueba y el cuentakilometro hizo el conteo y me dio el codigo 2.5 que creo que seria 25 y revise la lista y me dice: AIS motor circuits. An open or shorted condition detected in one or more of the IAC control circuits. Or target idle speed not met. esto traducido sería: Motoras de circuitos de AIS. Una condición abierta o cortocircuito detectada en uno o más de los circuitos de control de la IAC. O velocidad de ralentí de destino no se cumple. en ese caso que tipo de falla seria que la verdad no entiendo de cual circuito esta hablando ese codigo.. que es la IAC?? espero me puedan ayudar..

Chamo yo sabia, yo sabia que no le tenia que hacer ese test a la burrita mia por qu eme iba a decir que tenia algo malo ajajajajajaja, bueno a hora me preocupa que me arrojo el error 66 lo busque en el link que colo el pana

amigos haciendo esta prueba me sale lo siguiente, cada vez q paso la llave off-on, me sale 2.3, y al soltar el boton hace el testeo perfect pero sale el kilometraje, ya le e quitado el borne por tiempo prolongado en 3 ocaciones, por cosas q le e echo, y siempre q le hago la prueba sale el bendito 2.3 solo al pasar de off-on a la primera. en la segunda pasada vuelve aparecer, cada vez q le de aparece el 2.3, q significa eso, ya e visto en este post q a 2 personas con renegade 98 les paso pero nadie dio respuesta, gracias por su colaboracion...

esa falla me la dio un dia que no prendia , actualmente no le he dado mas ya que descubri que eran unos cables y los pude arreglar xq estos no pasaban la corriente a la bobina justamente

resulta q cuando presiono el reset y paso la llave el me muestra el num 2.3 luego hace la confirmación de los sistemas pero empezando en 000000 y terminando en 999999 al finalizar solo me muestra el kilometraje.

sera q estoy haciendo algo mal?

Inserta la llave y sin girarla presiona por completo el boton RESET del cuenta kilometros y mantenlo. Luego gira la llave hacia la posicion de encendido (sin producir ignicion!!!) tres veces dejando la llave en la posision de encendido. Suelta el boton de RESET y veras como las agujas se sacuden y el cuenta kilometros comienza una cuenta regresiva hasta mostrar un numero de dos digitos el cual representa un codigo de falla.

con calma y sin apuros tu xj es 2001 no deberia tener rollo en dar los codigos , x allli lei que de esto depende que resuelvas una falla

Yo hago el mismo procedimiento y al final no sale ningun codigo, me pasa lo mismo que a la amiga patricia al comienzo sale 2.3, cuando tenia el TPS malo hice el testeo y nada, tuve que meterle el scanner.
